The Pass Christian Library is excited to welcome Jane Friedman-author, business woman, educator and more-for a special Author Event on “Hot Topics in Publishing” on Saturday, March 4th at 1pm. Ms. Friedman is an author (The Business of Being a Writer) and has made her living reporting and speaking about the publishing industry. She specializes in business strategies for authors and publishers. Ms. Friedman is a professor with The Great Courses and her expertise has been featured by The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, and many other outlets. Ms. Friedman offers a free newsletter, Electric Speed, published since 2009, that has more than 25,000 subscribers.
