Special to Long Beach Breeze

Recently, Long Beach Chapter #51, Order of the Eastern Star (OES), held its installation of 2024-25 officers. Worthy Matron Pamela Taylor, PM, and Worthy Patron Tommie Taylor, PP, will lead the chapter for the ensuing year.

The Worthy Matron’s motto for the year is “Stars in Harmony,” with colors red, white and blue and symbols stars and stripes.  The group offered a special thank you to the installing officers: Installing Officer Sue Williams, PGM, from Louisiana; Installing Marshal Denise Ammons, from Louisiana; Installing Chaplain Melva Geiger, from Louisiana; Installing Secretary Pat Anderson, DDGM; and Installing Organist Wanda Pate. A luncheon was held after the installation.
