Hundreds of people gathered in the Long Beach High School (LBHS) gym to celebrate the achievements of graduating seniors during LBHS’s Senior Day on Tuesday, May 7. This year’s Class of 2024 boasts one-hundred-ninety-seven graduating seniors who have earned millions of dollars in scholarships to further help them to follow their dreams and chosen career paths.

Parents, relatives and friends of graduating seniors packed the gym to standing-room-only capacity at this year’s Senior Day, where the names and achievements of seniors were announced before they came forward for a certificate presentation and to pick up a copy of the LBHS Yearbook.

Vicki Ha Vy Tran, the daughter of Ha and Hung Tran, is the salutatorian. She plans to attend Rice University to major in chemical engineering.
