It’s our favorite tradition at Pass Christian Elementary School: House Reveal Day! At PCES, all students are placed into their own “house”. The House System is a grouping system to foster positive relationships and build community among students, faculty, and staff. The chosen students were thrilled to become part of their respective groups, each representing a unique ethos and purpose within the school community. The houses (Dignatio, Prudentia, Caridad, Valiente, and Mahalo) welcomed their newest members with open arms, belonging and camaraderie among all students.
During the House Reveal, all new students were asked to wear white shirts so they could be placed with their new house family. After the reveal, students and teachers played friendly competition games to earn points for their house. Over time, the points will declare a House Winner for the week.
Although this is an annual tradition, many students, faculty, and staff declared this rally as “the best house rally ever!” Many of our new students and staff found it to be a great introduction to our house system and our PCES Family.
