DETAILS: Are you familiar with the Garifuna culture? We’re having a festival to introduce our community to this fascinating culture on Saturday, June 11th. We want to include young people so we are encouraging families to come to our Garifuna Family Storytime! With special guests from Roatan, Honduras, Audrey and Nora Flores will lead this unique story time on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:30 am. Garifuna stories, songs, music, treats and more will be celebrated. The children will love this wonderful event.
This program is free and open to families! We hope people will also attend the Garifuna Festival in the Pass at 6pm on Saturday, June 11th as well. The Pass Christian Library is located at 111 Hiern Avenue in Pass Christian. If you have questions or need more information, please call 228 452-4596.
